Let’s get a little bit spicy this week, because I’ve been blowing my own mind a bit lately.
I’ve been thinking a lot about scaling, and how we have always been taught and made to believe that bigger is better (oh hello…) – but is that the case?
We are led to believe that we need to be making the most of everything, that we need a big structure, we need to be doing every single thing all the damn time. Nine out of ten times, this is what we associate with scaling and growing and having a bigger impact, more money, more clients. But guess what? That’s not always the case.
I’m learning personally that I don’t *want* to be doing all the freaking things, all the freaking time so I can scale and grow. In fact, I’m finding this desire more and more to just strip it all back to basics. I want to always and forever feel that me and what I am sharing is e n o u g h.
I just don’t feel like I need to constantly be creating and pushing freebies, sending emails three times a day to a list who are only going to get bored of them, making funnel after funnel after funnel… We’ve been taught to do this and I’m not saying that I’ll never have these freebies for my business and I’m deleting my email list, of course not, they’ll always be a part of my business structure. But I’m sick and tired of putting extra energy into this all the goddamn time.
You might not hear this from all the other business gurus. And that’s totally okay. We all work differently! But I’m sharing this right here, right now, as permission for you to not get sucked into the idea that in order to scale you have to have a certain structure. Because you don’t. Your business and your strategy can be whatever the fuck you want them to be.
So if you feel like where you are now and what you’re doing to grow and scale your business is wrong for you… then stop.
Take a step back. Breathe. And pivot. I’m pivoting; we all need to pivot from time to time to find where we need to be in order to achieve happiness and success. Because I know you look (as we all do) at the people in your niche, other lightworkers, other healers, who you deem successful, and you do the things that they do. You try to run your business in a similar way because they’re the blueprint. But guess what? YOU can be successful too and you can do it on your own motherfucking terms.
This is what I keep trying to tell you. It gets to be so damn easy if you let it. Be yourself. Love yourself. Do you. Do what you want. Because if you follow someone else’s blueprint and try to create something that just isn’t meant for you, you’re going to come up against block after block after block.
So what I want to say to you today is baby, slow down. Simplify! Look at your business and ask yourself, where can I make things simpler? Where can I make things smoother? What do I want to achieve and what’s the easiest way of getting to that place from where I am now?
You can do this. You can *always* do this. For more advice like this, I freaking BEG you to sign up to the Prosperous Light Leader (my free two-part masterclass which kicks off on Monday) because if this blog post resonated with you then PLL will change your goddamn life.
